MERGER OF TWO COMPANIES IN THE SAME INDUSTRY

Case presentation:
Following a merger with another company in the same industry, our customer commissioned the review of the implementation of common agreements derived from the synergy from the integration of both companies and their subsequent convergence towards single purchasing conditions.

Methodology:
After contrasting the convergence conditions with the sales and management teams of both companies, we decided to conduct a simultaneous analysis of suppliers present in both companies through both of the working teams created in each of the companies.

Result:
We identified that in one of the companies not all common agreements had been applied, since they were unaware of such agreements, and in the other the real scope of application of the agreements signed was misunderstood, thinking they were not applicable to both companies.

All of the above generated a recovered amount between both customers of over one million euros.
